ACUPUNCTURE
Officially recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), acupuncture is a practice whereby very fine needles are inserted into specific points of the body in order to reestablish a person’s energetic balance.
Over 3,000 years old, this traditional Chinese medicine takes into account the entire physical and psychological state of the individual and puts the emphasis on activating the patient’s power to heal rather than simply eliminating their symptoms.
Inserting the needles stimulates the neurological, hormonal, and immune systems, inducing a biological, energetic response intended to restore health and relieve pain.
Simon has been practising acupuncture in Montreal since 2003.
